If you are new and are interested in learning how to DJ please check out this thread first. Thank you in advance, and please let me know if I should have posted this in a different sub./r/DJs is a subreddit for general DJ discussion: equipment, techniques, news, music, etc. Flight cases are pretty much nonexistent for the CDMP 7000 too.Īt long last, here is my question: Would this set up even work, or am I better off selling it and getting something different instead? Being in college, I have no car to haul my stuff around so it is a huge pain to carry a heavy, awkward piece of equipment to my gigs and radio show. So far I like the idea of being able to use Traktor along with CDs or thumb drives so that I can mix with all forms of media also, having an extra channel for another computer based DJ to run through is nice.īut there are drawbacks to this. I have the Focusrite 2i2 that I plan on using as the outputs from Traktor to plug back into the built in analog mixer of the 7000. I currently own and like (not love) this piece of hardware and one thing I want to do is to hook it up to my computer via USB to be able to use Traktor and get more creative with my live performances. However, I had a quick question that I hope could be answered here regarding the Gemini CDMP 7000. New and looking for advice? /r/Beatmatchįirst of all, I've been on this sub for a while and it has been awesome seeing some of the success stories posted on here as well as learning new things.r/Beatmatch - for learning to DJ! /r/Controllerism /r/DJsCirclejerk /r/DJSetups /r/EDMproduction /r/Mixes /r/MobileDJ /r/RotaryMixers /r/SoundSystem /r/Turntablists /r/VinylDJs /r/VJing /r/WeAreTheMusicMakers /r/WhiteLabelsĬommunityWalk Map - Map of r/DJs members! > Unofficial DJs Discord <- Also check out PLEASE REPORT posts and comments that violate the above rules or just suck.
